Chronos AI has developed a next-generation 3D geolocation and situational-awareness platform that operates without GPS, cell towers, or internet. Our system creates a self-calibrating mesh using UWB/BLE/Wi-Fi/LoRa nodes (“anchors” and “tags”), deployable on drones, vehicles, and fixed infrastructure in seconds. We deliver sub-meter accuracy indoors, outdoors, and underground, with both active tracking (people/equipment) and soon, advanced passive RF detection (phones, radios, unknown emitters).

 

This capability is now being integrated into defense systems, public safety platforms, smart buildings, and mobile robotics, and is supported by multiple U.S. DoD engagements (U.S. Navy CRADA, DARPA, SOCOM/AFSOC submissions).

What Chronos AI Is Looking for through MIT CSAIL

 

We are currently seeking highly specialized support in three areas:

1.    Deep-Tech Patent Application Writer

o   To structure, draft, and expand Chronos AI’s IP portfolio across geolocation, mesh networking, RF sensing, and autonomous systems.

o   Experience with multi-modal PNT/PNT-alternative technologies is preferred.

2.    Grant Writer (U.S. & International)

o   To prepare competitive proposals for government research programs, innovation funds, and dual-use technology grants.

o   Experience with technical deep-tech storytelling and budget structuring is essential.

3.    Proposal Writer for DoD & National Security Challenges

o   To support rapid, high-quality submissions for DoD challenges (DIU, xTech, SOCOM, AFSOC, DARPA, Navy etc.).

o   Must understand defense problem framing and how to position emerging technology for mission impact.

Description: Skyline Nav AI, Inc. is a well-funded, commercially successful scale-up focused on revolutionizing visual navigation technology as an alternative to GPS, for our commercial and military customers. We are seeking highly motivated and hungry recent graduates (Bachelor's/Master's/PhD's) who are passionate about computer vision, robotics and AI to join our team.

As a R&D Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and productionizing computer vision algorithms and machine learning models to help our technology achieve high-accuracy visual navigation. This includes developing new algorithms, as well as optimizing existing methods for real-time use on edge-devices.

Requirements:

1. Candidate must be a US citizen, eligible for US Department of Defense Security Clearance

2. B.S./M.S./Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field

3. Strong programming skills in Python and C++

4. Proficient working with computer vision and machine learning concepts
