Brazil has one of the largest judicial systems in the world, comprising over 18,000 judges overseeing an inventory of more than 80 million cases. Although case files are largely digitized and accessible to the public, they tend to be lengthy (typically exceeding 300 pages even for simple matters), and the information within is unstructured. We harness the power of NLP and AI models to analyze and interpret these files, forecast verdicts, and discern the factors influencing outcomes. Our goal is to expedite legal proceedings, enhance efficiency, and improve accessibility to justice through the application of mathematics, statistics, and technology, ultimately reducing the necessity for litigation.
