Hazel Dalton serves as Senior Vice President, Chief Technology Officer for Nasdaq’s Financial Crime Management Technology business, leading the technical and development teams across Nasdaq Verafin solutions.
In her role, Hazel is responsible for scaling Nasdaq’s Financial Crime Management Technology platform and development processes to support a growing customer base of thousands of financial institutions. Working together with executive leaders, she will continue to propel product innovation to further the Financial Crime Management Technology team’s vision of creating the world’s most effective crime fighting network.
Hazel joined Nasdaq through the acquisition of Verafin, bringing more than a decade of technical leadership and experience. With a passion for development, Hazel has mentored many engineers, developers and technical teams during her tenure at Verafin. She is a strong advocate and role model for advancing women in the field of technology and encourages innovation by challenging the status quo in every facet of her work and career.
Hazel holds a B.A. in Computer Science from Memorial University.
