Title: Applications of Image Analysis & AI in the Understanding of Cancer and Metabolic Syndrome

Abstract: A review of systems developed in the studies of breast cancer, lung cancer, metabolic syndrome and liver cancer.

Bio: Sir Michael Brady was a member of the AI Lab at MIT (1980-5) and is now an Emeritus Professor of Information Engineering at the University of Oxford, and an Honorary Professor at the Mohammed Bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence in Abu Dhabi. Brady was knighted by the British Crown in 2004 for services to the field of engineering. He is the founder of several companies including three which will feature in his lecture: ScreenPoint Medical (breast cancer); Optellum (lung cancer); and Perspectum (metabolic syndrome and liver cancer).
