Did you know that MIT students have access to free legal resources to support their innovative, academic, and entrepreneurial work? For the past five years Boston University School of Law has partnered with MIT to create two clinics — the Startup Law Clinic and Technology Law Clinic — where BU Law students represent MIT students and student-led ventures on issues related to intellectual property, corporate law, data privacy, cybersecurity, and media/First Amendment issues.

Following the lecture, Professor Andrew W. Lo will moderate a fireside chat to discuss this important challenge.

How the United States adopts AI will have profound ramifications for our immediate security, economic well-being, and position in the world. The Commission’s Interim Report to Congress provides an initial assessment on AI’s relationship to national security, preliminary judgements on areas where the United States can do better, and suggests interim actions the government can take today. The Commission looks forward to hearing from the Harvard community on the types of recommendations that must be considered to prepare for an AI future.
